How to reset the service light of the Volvo S40

If you have just had the regular service of your Volvo S40 second series (year 2004-2012), but notice that the appropriate warning light continues to stay on steadily on the dashboard, then you just need to follow the following procedure to reset it manually. First of all, reach the driver's seat and make sure the vehicle is turned off, then press the button located below the speedometer and turn on the dashboard. Wait a few seconds and as soon as the display stops flashing, release the button to complete the reset of the warning light.
