Engine Coolant Thermostat Replacement

Model: Alfa Romeo 156 MK 1 - Years 1997-2007

Open the bonnet and remove the plastic cover protecting the engine. Remove the two hose clips on the air duct to detach the adjustment block. Below is the thermostat, which needs to be removed using a spanner. Disconnect the various water hoses to access the thermostat and proceed with its removal. The thermostat is located on an aluminium elbow that must be removed. Install the new thermostat and reassemble the various components previously removed. Reconnect the air hose and top up the coolant.
