This guide provides instructions for removing and replacing the thermostat on the Alfa Romeo 159 1.9 JTDm. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and begin by removing the battery and battery tray, disconnecting both terminals (positive and negative) and unscrewing all the screws of the bracket and battery tray; then disconnect the thermostat pipes located underneath, unplugging the electrical connector and unscrewing the screws to remove it, as shown in the video. Install the new original thermostat, reassemble everything, and top up with new coolant.
