In this video, we will see the main steps to remove and replace the thermostat on the Alfa Romeo 159, with a 1.9 JTDM engine. First, drain the coolant or antifreeze by disconnecting the hose from the bottom of the car; then open the bonnet and remove the plastic cover and the battery, disconnecting the terminals.

At this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the thermostat pipe; disconnect the electrical connector of the sensor and the coolant hoses, replacing and reassembling everything!
