Want to replace the gear knob on your Alfa Romeo 159? Follow these steps. Use a screwdriver to remove the plastic cover on the knob (gear number indicator), then unscrew the gear knob using a socket or spanner. Remove the leather gaiter from the edge of the centre console using a plastic lever. For reassembly: slide the leather gaiter onto the rod on the centre console, then fit the new knob and tighten it with the spanner. Finally, reattach the plastic cover (with the numbering) to the gear knob.
