How to Change the Engine Air Filter in an Alfa Romeo 147

To replace the engine air filter in an Alfa Romeo 147, turn off the engine and open the bonnet. Locate the filter box, situated at the bottom of the engine bay and connected to the intake duct. Loosen the screws holding the housing closed and carefully separate the two parts of the box. Remove the old filter and clean the interior, removing dust and other debris. Insert the new filter in the same position, ensuring it is properly seated along the entire edge. Close the airbox, evenly tighten the screws, and reposition any components that were moved. Finally, start the engine and check that the intake duct is securely fastened.
