How to Change the Air Filter on an Alfa Romeo 147

To change the engine air filter on an Alfa Romeo 147, open the bonnet and locate the filter housing in the engine compartment, connected to the air intake system. Remove the screws or release the clips holding the cover of the filter box. Lift the cover and extract the old filter element from its seat. Before fitting the new filter, remove any dust or dirt present inside the housing. Then insert the new filter in the correct position, paying attention to the fitting direction. Close the filter box cover, securing it again with the screws or clips previously removed. Finally, check that everything is fitted correctly and close the vehicle's bonnet.
