How to replace the flat battery in the remote key for an Alfa Romeo Giulia? Take your remote and open the cover to release the metal key (pry it open with your hands until the two covers separate). Remove the metal key, extract the flat battery using a screwdriver, and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Insert the metal key back into the remote. Reassemble the two parts of the cover with the buttons by pressing on the remote key until you hear the locking click. Check the remote's proper functioning.
