First, take your remote and remove the rear cover by sliding it down; then take out the key and use it to twist off the battery cover, as shown in the video.

At this point, replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V), and reassemble everything by inserting it the right way; then replace the remote cover!
