Alfa Romeo 159 - Video tutorial
Model: Alfa Romeo 159
MK 1
- Years 2005-2011 Before we can start, we will have to go and sit in the driver's seat of our Alfa Romeo 159. So let's start by disengaging and removing the air vents, simply by gently pulling them towards us. Once this is done, we will have to disassemble the car radio, using the special extractor keys, and then disconnect the rear plug. Once we have removed the car radio, we will have to go and disengage the gear knob boot, and then remove the relative section of the dashboard. By doing so, we will have discovered all the fixing screws of the dashboard, which we will have to go and remove. At this point, we will be able to space the dashboard just enough to be able to disconnect the rear plugs. When we have disconnected the rear pins, we will be able to permanently remove the dashboard, and we will have finished the disassembly.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford EcosportFirst remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base. by ScegliAuto More videos
