To replace the gear knob on an Alfa Romeo Mito, the video includes the new gear knob and the sleeve for fitting it onto the gear lever. Start by unscrewing the original knob, remove the original sleeve, and take off the gaiter. On the gear shaft, there is a small tooth that you need to file down so that it is almost flush with the shaft (before filing, place some kitchen roll to prevent debris from entering the gearbox and onto the dashboard). Insert the new sleeve by unscrewing the Allen screw, after removing the ring on the lever, insert the new sleeve with the protruding side facing down, insert the painted part, tighten the Allen screw, remove the kitchen roll, put on the gaiter, screw on the new gear knob (if the knob is slightly crooked, unscrew the Allen screw and rotate the entire assembly until it is straight) and secure the gaiter with the button.
