The side mirrors of the Alfa Romeo 156 are subject to disengage each time they are closed. Let's see how to modify the joint in order to avoid this unpleasant inconvenience. First, unscrew the three screws that hold the base of the mirror in place. Gently levering with a spatula, we then remove the actual mirror; it is not necessary to remove the electrical connectors, just remove it from its seat. Now let's operate on the joint, removing the screws, first the external one, then the one inside the mirror. Now we will have separated the mechanism from the shell. Still on the joint, we use a ratchet wrench to remove the central bolt: we will now have completely disassembled the mechanism. When reassembling it we will put the bush, under the spring, above the washer and the screw, under a large washer (which was not there before) and a bolt. We can tighten the pieces. Put the mechanism back in the shell: first the cable, then let the arm pass, put the two screws back in their place, hang up the mirror. We can reassemble the mirror base and put everything back in its place on the car. Job finished.

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
