After performing a scheduled maintenance service that includes an oil change and filter replacement, you need to update the service indicator on the instrument panel. To do this, sit in the driver's seat and turn the key to the 'on' position (do not start the engine). Using the navigation control in the onboard computer menu, scroll through the options until you reach 'Service'. Press 'Ok' and simultaneously hold the plus and minus buttons for about ten seconds, after which the service indicator will be reset.
