How to Unlock the Seat Lever of the Alfa Romeo Mito

To allow passengers access to the rear seat, release the backrest of the front seat and slide it forward to create enough space. During the lifting of the handle, a steel cable releases the lock at the base of the seat frame; often, the handle movement may be slightly obstructed or even jammed. This issue can be resolved simply by lubricating the mechanism, but rather than spraying grease and risking a mess, remove the plastic handle by unscrewing the fixing screw inside the frame, then apply grease to the base of the internal lever.
