Why is the Cigarette Lighter Socket on the Alfa Romeo 159 Not Working?

If the cigarette lighter socket on your Alfa Romeo 159 has suddenly stopped working, the first thing to do is check the status of the respective fuse, the location of which is indicated in this video. As shown, the fuse is located in the box inside the cabin, behind the small door situated in the lower area of the dashboard on the driver's side. It is labelled F44 and is rated at 10A. If faulty, ensure you use a replacement with equivalent specifications and always operate with the vehicle turned off to avoid damaging connected devices.
