How to open the locked trunk of the Audi TT?

In the Audi TT, it may happen that the trunk lid gets stuck, for example due to a problem with the control button or the lock actuator. In these cases, we can perform the emergency opening following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, unlock the locks using the appropriate button on the remote control, then open the driver's door and, by operating the corresponding lever, lower the backrest of the rear seat. Then go inside the trunk, release the indicated cap and pull the rope towards you, in order to unlock the lock.
