How to open the hood of an Audi when the cable is broken

In this video, we can see how to open the hood of an Audi car when the control cable is broken, without damaging the bodywork. First, we need to remove the chrome molding that finishes the front grille, in order to expose the screws underneath the molding. This can be easily removed, as it is only attached with small clips and can be pried off with a screwdriver or better yet, a plastic spatula. Then, using a 30 screwdriver, we remove the two screws right under the lock; they are very long screws, and once removed, the lock will lift enough to remove the third screw inside and lift the hood.
