In this video, we see how to install a rear camera on a 2016 Audi A1 that does not have one. We can find all the equipment, from the camera to the long cable to the adapter, on AliExpress at very low prices, with the respective codes 1005003330886339 at 2.47 euros; 1005005986956746 at 1.37 euros and 1005005342759888 at 6.15 euros.

However, we must ensure that our car meets a minimum prerequisite.

By pressing the "media" button on our stereo and then "source", the screen should display the word "ami", otherwise we will have to activate it with the VCDS. We start by removing the rear hood cover, gradually removing the screws (which we will carefully keep) and removing the plastic clips that we will find along our path.
