How to reset the service on the Audi A4 B6/B7

In this video we can see how to reset the service light on an Audi B6 like the one in the video, but also on the B7 which is very similar. We insert the key into the ignition, without starting the engine. We hold down the "trip" button on the dashboard, near the speedometer, for 2/3 seconds. While holding down this button, we also press the button with the key icon (if present) or the "0.0" button on the dashboard. We wait a couple of seconds: the message "service reset" should appear. For verification, it is good to turn off and restart the car. The light should no longer be visible. Also the partial odometer resets by doing this operation. On the B7 the procedure is the same, but the "0.0" button is replaced by the "set" button.
