How to replace the filter and engine oil on an Audi A3? Let's see how to proceed with the replacement: we lift the car on a column bridge, remove the engine protection panel and unscrew the oil sump pin; let the oil flow into a container (tighten the pin at the end of the drain). We bring the car back to the ground, then, we open the car door and pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood, we secure the same. With a socket wrench we unscrew the oil filter, extract it and place a new one, making it adhere well around the thread. We top up with the new oil.
