How to Change the Remote Battery in an Audi Q7 E-tron

To change the battery in the remote of an Audi Q7 E-tron, start by extracting the emergency key. Press the two side buttons and simultaneously pull out the mechanical key located at the bottom. You will now see a small slot where you can insert a small screwdriver to pry open the back of the remote. The battery is a common CR2032, which you will lift out with the screwdriver tip to remove it. Insert the new battery, ensuring the positive terminal is facing up (just like the original was positioned). Replace the back cover. If it doesn't work immediately, it may need to be re-synchronized: simply press any button near the car and start the engine within a few seconds to do so.
