How to Remove the "Component Protection Active" Message on the Audi A4 Display?

You can completely erase the "Component Protection Active" message on the Audi A4 display by connecting a diagnostic tool with VCDS software to the vehicle's OBD port: this port is located on the lower left side of the dashboard near the steering column. Once connected, follow the on-screen instructions to erase the message: this way, you can then disconnect the scanner and notice that the radio no longer displays the message, making it usable.
