Replacement of Front Suspension Control Arms

Model: Audi A6 C5, MK 2 - Years 1997-2004
Part: Control arm

Lift the vehicle on a lift and first remove the bolt securing the stabilizer bar to the suspension control arm. Then remove the nut from the ball joint that connects the control arm to the wheel hub and the bolt that connects the control arm to the vehicle frame (you may need a puller or a fork lever to extract the ball joint from the hub). Continue by removing the other ball joint, the bolt connecting the shock absorber to the arm, and the bolt securing the arm itself to the frame. Then install the new control arms, tightening the respective securing bolts properly.

How to Remove the Timing Belt from a Nissan Juke

How do you remove the timing belt from a Nissan Juke? Raise the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel, using a screwdriver to detach the right wheel arch liner. Once these operations are complete: lift the bonnet, remove the engine soundproofing panel and the timing belt cover (from the wheel arch). Use a suitable spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. After fitting the new belt, use the spanner to tension the tensioner pulley, adjusting until the correct tension is achieved on the belt (previously fitted). Finally, check the tensioner and the belt itself, tightening everything with a socket spanner.
