How to Remove the Oil Filter from an Audi A4

Before you can start, open the hood of your Audi A4 to gain the necessary space to work without obstruction. Begin by removing the engine cover by simply unhooking it. Next, unscrew the oil filler cap. At this point, if possible, lift the vehicle (if you cannot lift the vehicle, that is okay). Proceed to drain the oil by placing a container under the drain hole and unscrewing the corresponding bolt. Once the oil is drained, lower the vehicle and remove the oil filter by unscrewing it with a 76-14F socket wrench. After you finish unscrewing it, you can remove the oil filter, successfully completing the removal process.
