Audi A4 - Video tutorial

Model: Audi A4 B7 - Years 2004-2008
Part: Engine oil
Operation: How to change the engine oil of an Audi A4

How to replace the engine oil filter on an Audi A4? Let's see in this video guide how to proceed with the replacement. We lift the car with a column bridge and unscrew the pin of the oil sump, let the oil flow into a container (we tighten the pin at the end of the drain). We bring the car back to the ground, then, we open the car door and pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood, we secure the same. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the large locking pin of the container cap where the oil filter is located, extract it and position a new one, making it adhere well around the walls of the box. Finally we refit the oil filter cap, tighten the screws and top up with the new oil.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
