How to replace the timing belt on the Audi A5 2.0 TDI?

To replace the timing belt on the Audi A5, open the bonnet to access the engine compartment and remove the cover from the side of the engine to access the pulleys. Next, lift the car and remove the right wheel and wheel arch liner to loosen the screws securing the fan control unit. Now you will have access to the tensioner roller, which needs to be loosened and removed to slacken the belt and replace it. After the replacement, install the new belt and all previously removed parts.
