It may be necessary and good practice to replace the power steering oil. It may happen that the wrong oil has been used, not suitable for that type of gears or at the operating temperatures, or that the liquid is simply exhausted. To replace the oil, just extract the present one from the tank, using an oil suction pump. To completely empty the tank and the circuit, it is necessary to turn the gears, then continue extraction with the engine running. Once the tank has been completely emptied, the new oil is poured up to the correct level and the car is restarted. Once the level has been checked again, the operation is concluded.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
