How to Remove the Steering Gearbox from an Audi A4?

To remove the steering gearbox from an Audi A4, open the hood and drain the old power steering fluid by removing the reservoir. Next, loosen the bolts securing the upper control arms located above the front right and left wheels. Now, disconnect the terminals connected to the battery, and then you can loosen the bolts securing the steering gearbox, first on the driver side and then on the passenger side. From the left front wheel well, you can slide out the old gearbox and replace it with a new one.
