How to replace the remote control battery of an Audi A4.

Model: Audi A4 B9 - Years 2014-2024
Part: Key

This guide will show you how to replace the key battery of an Audi A4. On the sides of the Audi logo, on the side of the key near the key ring, there are two keys; It is necessary to press them at the same time to be able to remove the piece in question which will come out of the remote control together with the key. At this point we have to press the same keys again; by doing this it will also be possible to extract the battery compartment. We will therefore have to replace the CR2032 battery with the new one, inserting it with the negative pole in view and the positive one towards the plastic support. Once this is done we will have to reinsert the battery compartment; at 1: 25 minute it is possible to see inside the remote control the metal contact towards which the battery must make contact. Once the battery compartment has been inserted, we press the side buttons again to make it enter correctly. Finally we reinsert the key in its compartment, sliding it until the locking mechanism clicks.
