How to Reset the Service on the Audi A4

To reset the service on the Audi A4, the video shows using a specific program (VCDS) installed on a PC/tablet connected to the car's OBD port. First, turn on the instrument cluster. Once the program is running, there is a box on the main screen labeled "reset" that you will click. After loading, a table with instructions appears, and above it, there is a dropdown menu that you will click to select the second option "longlife/rest of the world/diesel engine". Click at the bottom where it says "reset", and the new mileage for the next service will appear on the car's infotainment display. When a window appears stating that the new data has been updated, click "OK". Next, reset the inspection service by clicking on the dropdown menu for "e.g., Brake fluid reset rest of the world & UK", click at the bottom in the box where it says "reset", and after loading, a window will appear stating that the new mileage has been updated; click "OK". Finally, from the same dropdown menu, click on the option "reset inspection service rest of the world", click on the box at the bottom where it says "reset", and notice that the data for the next service is updated on the car's infotainment display (click on the window that says the mileage has been updated). Finally, you can turn off the instrument cluster, and the operation is complete.
