How to Replace the Front Brake Pads on an Audi A3

In this video tutorial, see how to replace the front brake pads on an Audi A3. The first thing you need to do is purchase new brake pads; the next step is to unscrew the cap of the brake fluid reservoir, loosen the wheel bolts, then lift the vehicle with a hydraulic jack and place safety stands, or use a mobile ramp. Using a 17 mm socket spanner, completely unscrew the wheel bolts and remove the wheel from its hub. Remove the dust caps from the brake caliper guides using a crowbar. With an H7 HEX key (RATCHET SPANNER), unscrew the brake caliper attachment. Use the crowbar to separate the brake pads. Now, remove the brake caliper. To avoid depressurising the system, use a wire to tie the caliper to the suspension without disconnecting it from the brake hose. Remove the brake pads and proceed with the replacement.
