How to Replace the Manual Transmission Oil in an Audi TT

To change the 6-speed manual transmission oil, the turbo has already been removed in the video because it needs to be replaced, and while we're at it, we change the transmission oil. Park the car on a level surface and lift it up. Under the car, locate the oil drain plug. Moving the hose for the steering box, find the fill plug for the oil, and if it has 4x4 like in the video, there is another plug for the 4x4 drain. Now, unscrew the oil pan plug, placing a container underneath while being careful of the washer to drain the oil. In the owner's manual, you will find the necessary liters to add to the pan, which is 2.6 quarts. Once all the oil has drained, you can remove the fill plug and replace the drain plug (tighten to 33 lb-ft). Now, move to the 4x4 side, unscrew the plug, drain the oil, and clean the plug well, paying attention to the magnet attached to it. Once cleaned, you can reinstall the 4x4 plug, changing the gasket. Now, using a funnel from above, assisted by a hose that reaches the fill plug, pour in the oil (the video uses 80-90 from Elf), adding 2.6 quarts into the plug, and the operation is complete.
