Operation: Replacement of the clutch cable and repair of the fairlead bushing

Open the front hood and release the clutch cable from the lever on the gearbox; then access the passenger compartment and remove the portion of the dashboard immediately under the steering wheel so as to be able to reach the pedal unit more easily and unhook the cable from the clutch lever: once the cable is released, remove the portion of the broken cable bushing; still from the engine compartment, remove the coolant reservoir to reach the seat of the fairlead bushing, remove the old clutch cable and file the bushing so that it fits into the relevant hole. At this point, make a modification to the bushing by applying a washer and a nut to be fixed with welding points in order to create an end stop. Lubricate the new clutch cable with spray grease, insert the modified bushing by placing it in the appropriate hole, hook it first to the gear lever and then to the pedal unit, subsequently adjusting the stroke.
