To check the engine oil level in an Audi A5, turn on the ignition and then press the CAR button located on the central control panel. This will bring up a menu on the display, which you can navigate using the central dial.

Scroll to select the "Oil Level" option: a screen will appear stating that the information is not available. Allow the sensor time to read the oil level until a screen appears indicating the level between maximum and minimum.
