How do you disable the passenger airbag on the Audi TT?

In order to deactivate the passenger airbag on the Audi TT, you need to go and open the glovebox located on the front passenger side: there will be a lock in the upper part of the compartment, which can be turned using the ignition key. When this is ON it means that the passenger airbag is active; if it is on OFF it means that this will not be active. Therefore, by moving the lock to OFF and turning on the instrument panel, the passenger airbag will be correctly deactivated and it will be possible to see this since the corresponding warning light will turn on on the central panel.
