Fuel Filter Replacement

Model: Audi A4 B6 - Years 2000-2004
Part: Fuel filter

The fuel filter for this vehicle is not located in the engine compartment like in many models, but under the floor near the right rear wheel: lift the vehicle on a hoist and locate the filter housing; then remove the screw from the support clamp to free the filter. Position a drain pan under the filter and disconnect the lines using a special pliers to press and retract the locking tabs to remove the hoses. Align the new filter with its housing, connect the hoses ensuring the locking tabs snap into place, and secure it with the support clamp.
