Air Conditioning Recharge Instructions

If the air conditioning is set to the lowest temperature but the air coming from the vents is not cold enough, it is likely that you need to recharge the refrigerant in the system. It is more appropriate to recover the existing gas using the proper tool, perform a vacuum, and then recharge the system. However, if you want to do a quick top-off, you can purchase a can of gas with the appropriate gauge and connection hose. First, remove the plastic grille under the windshield, locate the air conditioning line where the valve is situated, remove the cap, and connect the hose. Start the engine, turn on the air conditioning to the lowest temperature and the fan to maximum, and press on the service valve to charge the gas.
