First, extract the physical emergency key by pressing the release button. Then, insert a small flathead screwdriver into the gap created by the physical key and lever off the rear cover of the remote to remove it. At this point, you will see the old battery that needs replacing, so replace it with a new one and finally close the remote by reversing the procedure.
