Operation: How to replace the front suspension spring.

Put the car on the bridge and lift it up to a height that allows us to work comfortably. Remove the front wheel. With the appropriate wrenches, unscrew the bolts that lock the suspension at the bottom of the wheel axle and at the top. Loosen the suspension from its position (if you need to use an awl to pry the bolts out of the holes). Lower the bridge and open the engine compartment. Remove the gasket that separates the plastic from the engine compartment and remove the plastic itself. Using a screwdriver, remove the rubber plug of the bolt hole that holds the suspension. Now with the appropriate wrench we unscrew the bolts and we can extract the suspension. With a special tool, we tension the spring and unscrew the bolt on the head of the suspension in order to remove the elements that are on the spring. Now we can replace the spring itself. And reassemble the head piece following the same procedure but in the opposite direction. Finally, we can reassemble the suspension on the car following the same steps seen but in reverse using, however, a hydraulic jack under the wheel (to remove tension) when it comes to fixing the connection to the axle. The maintenance operation that has been described is performed on an Audi A4.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
