Removal and Replacement of Right Front Headlight

Open the hood. Unscrew the two screws that secure the plastic element inside the engine compartment, just behind the headlight.

Remove the element by lifting it upward. Now unscrew the two screws beneath the removed plastic element that secure the headlight at the two lower ends.

Unscrew two more screws located outside the engine compartment, near the hood seal. Pull the headlight towards you, freeing it from its housing.

Disconnect the wires by pressing the clip, and the headlight is removed. At this point, you can install the new headlight by following the same steps in reverse order.

This maintenance procedure is performed on an Audi A4.
