Fitting an Additional Chip Tuning Control Unit

Model: Audi A1 MK 1, 8X - Years 2010-2018

For this operation, you need to obtain the control unit kit for your vehicle model. Locate the installed control unit and the corresponding power connectors. Remove the connector from the installed control unit and, after connecting the new additional accessory to the supplied cable, connect one end of this cable to the vehicle's control unit connector and the other end to the connector that went to the installed control unit. Essentially, the kit is inserted in series with the cable that powers the vehicle's control unit. Position the new control unit in a suitable location and secure it with plastic ties. The kit requires power, so connect the negative wire with a terminal to a chassis bolt and the positive wire to a switched fuse.
