Replacing a Car Control Arm

The control arm of the car connects the chassis to the struts, but if it bends due to an impact, wears out, or breaks, it will be absolutely necessary to replace it since a defective control arm can lead to a loss of vehicle control. This is a job you can do yourself to save some money. The first step is to identify the control arm that needs replacement: check all four wheels and determine which one you need to work on. Once that is done, you need to lift the car. Remove the hubcap and take the wheel off the hub. Next, disconnect the stabilizer link, being careful not to break it. After that, the control arm will be in front of you and can be removed.
