Model: Audi A3 MK 3, 8V - Years 2012-2019
Part: Checks and maintenance

The reverse camera has now become an essential accessory on our cars, and if an older car doesn't have it, we can install it ourselves. Let's see how on an Audi A3 8V: this one without the central unit, original Audi, can be found on effeerrevag. Com for 350.00 euros. We remove the glove compartment to access the MMI; we temporarily connect it to verify its correct operation, then we remove the internal cover of the trunk to pass the cable, then we make it pass from underneath and then from the door sills until we reach the main connection with the MMI. We remove the glove compartment to do a clean job, then we pass the cable through the door sills, we make it come out from the corner of the trunk, in the carpet, and then we make it pass through the rubber hose to the part of the tailgate that opens, until we reach the license plate, where we will position the rear camera; we do a test for the operation, before closing all the plastic parts.

How to Replace the Oil Sump on a Ford Focus

Follow these steps to remove and replace the oil sump on a Ford Focus engine. Lift the car on a column lift and (at your preferred height) use a socket wrench to unscrew the sump plug, allowing the oil to drain into a container (for disposal) and then re-screw the plug. Remove all the side plastics protecting the undercarriage using a battery or manual drill, then unscrew the fastening bolts around the perimeter of the oil sump. After removing the bolts from the sump, detach it from the engine block along with the gasket using a screwdriver as leverage. Clean everything and refit the new part.
