Replacing the battery of the BMW X1 remote key is a process that consists of a few simple steps. The first step is to remove the emergency key from the remote. To do this, we must press the side button while pulling the key outwards. The second step is to insert a flat-head screwdriver into the key and then push outwards to open the remote cover. The third step is to remove the battery and insert a new one. Once the new battery is inserted, we can close the cover and insert the emergency key back into its slot.
