The procedure to reset the Service light on the BMW X5 is done by turning on the instrument panel, inserting the ignition key into the corresponding slot: once the panel is turned on, you can navigate through the menu by repeatedly pressing the button on the left side of the instrument panel. Once the engine oil icon is located, you must hold down the button on the left side of the panel to reset the light; once the reset is complete, you can turn off the panel by turning the key.
