How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW X5?

To reset the Service light on a BMW X5, turn on the ignition by inserting the key into the ignition switch. Once the dashboard is powered on, navigate through the menu by repeatedly pressing the button on the left side of the dashboard.

When you locate the engine oil icon, press and hold the same button on the left side of the dashboard to reset the light. After the reset is complete, turn off the dashboard by turning the key.
