Today we will explain how to replace the battery of the BMW Series one model E87 from 2006. To perform the battery replacement, we need to open the trunk of the car and remove the bottom part in order to access the battery compartment. The battery to be inserted is a 12-volt one, avoid inserting a battery with a lower voltage as it could damage the vehicle's structure. Remove the bracket that holds the battery by unscrewing the bolt immediately after, then disconnect the negative terminal and then the positive terminal. Remove the battery and clean the housing. Insert the new battery by connecting the terminals and securing it on the bracket.
