How to remove the steering wheel of the BMW E46

In this article, we will see how to disassemble the steering wheel of the BMW E46. This procedure is useful for replacing the steering wheel, the necessary tools are a flathead screwdriver and a 6mm socket wrench. It is also recommended to disconnect the battery. Now, first of all, apply pressure with the flathead screwdriver in the appropriate spaces behind the steering wheel, now the airbag lock will come outwards, remove it and disconnect the connectors, at this point use the 6mm socket wrench to remove the steering wheel fixing bolt. Once the bolt is removed, it will be possible to remove the steering wheel and then replace it.
