In this video, see how to install a sport steering wheel on your BMW 3 Series E46. First, disconnect the battery. Then, use two small screwdrivers on the sides of the steering wheel to remove the airbag by disconnecting the connector.

Next, unscrew the center bolt to remove the steering wheel. You will need to install resistors to simulate the airbag connection to prevent the airbag light from turning on. Insert a spacer to mimic the thickness of the original steering wheel.
