How to Remove Cloudiness from the Headlight Lens

Cloudiness is a problem that affects the headlights of older vehicles, compromising their efficiency and obviously impacting driving safety, especially at night due to poor illumination of the roadway. There is an economical way to clean the surface without replacing the headlight. You will need a multifunction drill to which you will attach a sponge cleaning disc. It is also useful to have a microfiber cloth. Initially, cover the bodywork around the headlight with masking tape, creating a square around the perimeter. Then, lubricate the headlight with the appropriate product and, using the drill with the sponge, start polishing the surface for a few minutes, alternating the operation with lubrication. Clean the headlight with the microfiber cloth. Now, spread some abrasive paste on the sponge disc and repeat the polishing operation. Next, clean the surface. Finally, change the disc to a more absorbent one to repeat the polishing with the paste. Lubricate and clean everything. Now remove the masking tape.
