How to activate and deactivate the passenger airbag on the BMW 3 Series

In this video, we see how to activate and deactivate the passenger airbag on the BMW 3 Series: this operation is necessary in case we need to transport a very small child, as regulations require the airbag to be deactivated in this case, as it could harm the child instead of protecting them. When the passenger airbag is activated, everything inside our car is normal, but a warning light will indicate that it is deactivated. To do this, we need to remove the physical key from the remote and go to the passenger side, where - between the dashboard and the door - we find a lock where we can insert our key, which we will turn to "off" to temporarily deactivate the passenger airbag: when we put the key back in the ignition, the passenger airbag warning light will turn on. When we want to reactivate it, we just need to do the reverse operation and the light will turn off on its own.
